MAC Paint Pots don’t dry out, at least mine that are a year old are still super creamy. It has a long wand with more teeth concentrated at the top, and it looks promising. So I haven’t worn it yet, but as soon as I feel better, I will be dying to try this new for me shade as well as the sample mascara that I got: MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash. Right now, I’m still not feeling that great, and I’m Layin’ Low. And when I compared the two shades, they are definitely different enough. When I first opened Layin’ Low, I wondered if it was different enough from Painterly. Definitely a shade that will suit me with my red hair.
When it arrived, it looked less like “creamy beige” and more like browned peach like the swatch I saw online. I chose Layin’ Low, described as “creamy beige”. Now, MAC offers 7 shades, a mix of mattes, pearls and shimmers.
So when MAC decided to throw in free shipping, I ordered online and took a chance on the shade I chose. The sales associate told me that they weren’t allowed to offer the discount. I had planned to go to Macy’s to look at the actual shades of Paint Pots, but I called first to see if they had them in stock. So I better keep buying them if I want them to remain around. Maybe I’m one of the few who loves cream shadows. In fact, I wish I had known they were on sale for $13 on Nordstrom Rack where they’re now just about sold out except for black and brown.
Recently I noticed that MAC decreased the number of Paint Pots shades rather substantially, boo.
STAP 2 Gebruik een 221S kwast om Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Currant Affair te blenden in binnen- en buitenhoeken van de oogleden om het oog intensiever vorm te geven. I also bought Antique Diamond, a sparkly silver grey shade. STAP 1 Breng in het midden van de oogleden Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Babe In Charms aan met behulp van een 224S kwast. Originally, I bought Painterly, the pale pink nude cream shadow reviewed here, that makes a wonderful base or a nice everyday shade to wear on its own. Time for me to add to my collection of Paint Pots. The Paint Pots are creamy, highly pigmented, long wearing, easy to apply and blend cream shadows that are perfect for my dry lids. When I wear this primer, I'm confident my look will last all day long.MAC had a 20% off sale after Memorial Day for their Select members (all you have to do is sign up, no purchase requirements), and when they added in free shipping, bingo. When you skip out on this step, you run the risk of the shadow sliding around and settling into your natural creases, which can ruin your glam after only a few minutes. Many people can't be bothered with the hassle of putting on a base before swiping on some color, but could it be the one thing that preserves your eye look from sunup to sundown. I second other fans' experiences with this product's waterproof benefits as well, with another shopper writing, "My makeup will last all day despite tears, humidity, and other conditions… No other eyeshadow base, waterproof or not, has managed to last throughout a tearing episode except Mac Paint Pots."

However, the Paint Pot sprung to fame on social media as an eyeshadow primer, with the fan-favorite shade (and mine as well) being "Painterly." Some shoppers even vouch for its effectiveness as a concealer one reviewer said, "It also works wonders as an under eye cover. This Mac primer is technically a cream eyeshadow itself, available in several shades to offer the option of a one-and-done look.
